Diego Vallarino Lewis is the Chief Executive Officer of Grupo VerdeAzul, a family company that focuses on investments that promote local community and economic growth. Mr. Vallarino has been working in real estate for over 10 years. He has completed over $300 million worth of projects ranging from residential, hospitality to infrastructure.
In 2014 Mr. Vallarino became a board member of Banco Nacional, Panama’s largest public bank, where he presided over the credit committee. In October 2017, he was appointed Chairman of the Board, position that he presently maintains.
Previously to joining Grupo VerdeAzul in 2012, Mr. Vallarino co-founded Futurad, an outdoor digital signage company, and worked as a financial analyst for Banco Santander in Madrid, Spain from 2010-2012.
Mr. Vallarino holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a master's degree in Finance and Banking Business from the University of Alcalá, and a Bachelor's degree in Science in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University.
